If you’re looking for a paddle that feels simple, warm, and different, this is where Wagas Picklewood begins.

The Natural Paddle is our most honest version of a wooden pickleball paddle. No loud colors. No extra finish trying to hide the material. Just mahogany wood, shaped and finished by hand in our family workshop in Compostela, Cebu.

Before carbon fiber and modern paddle technology, pickleball started with wood. This paddle is our way of going back to that beginning and asking, “What can our workshop bring to the game today?”

Each piece features our laser engraved honeycomb texture, made to give the paddle face a more tactile feel while keeping the natural character of the wood. You may notice slight differences in grain, tone, and finish from one paddle to another. To us, that is part of the beauty.

The Natural Paddle is made for casual games, warm rallies, thoughtful gifts, and players who appreciate the feeling of something real in their hands.

It is not trying to be the most advanced paddle on the court. It is trying to be something with soul.

CRAFTING PROCESS

Each Wagas Picklewood Paddle begins as mahogany wood in our family workshop. The paddle is shaped, sanded, laser engraved with our honeycomb texture, finished, and checked by hand before it leaves the workshop.

Because every piece is handmade, small differences in grain, color, texture, and finish may appear. We see these details as part of the character of a wooden paddle.
