The Color Collection is our softer, more playful take on the wooden paddle.

We wanted to create something that still felt true to Wagas Picklewood but brought a little more color and personality to the court. Something fun, light, and easy to love, without losing the handmade feel of the wood underneath.

Each pastel paddle is made from mahogany wood in our workshop in Compostela, Cebu. It is shaped by hand, laser engraved with our honeycomb texture, painted in small batches, and finished with care by our team.

This collection is for the players who want their paddle to feel a little more personal. Maybe you like soft colors. Maybe you want a gift that feels thoughtful. Maybe you just want to show up to the court with something that does not look like everyone else’s.

And that is really what Wagas Picklewood has always been about.

CRAFTING PROCESS

Each Wagas Picklewood Paddle begins as mahogany wood in our family workshop. The paddle is shaped, sanded, laser engraved with our honeycomb texture, finished, and checked by hand before it leaves the workshop.

Because every piece is handmade, small differences in grain, color, texture, and finish may appear. We see these details as part of the character of a wooden paddle.

Name painting or short text personalization may be available depending on our current production schedule.

WHY WAGAS PICKLEWOOD?

Before carbon fiber and modern paddle materials, pickleball began with wood.

Wagas Picklewood is our way of honoring that beginning while bringing our own workshop’s story into the game. Each paddle is handmade in Compostela, Cebu by Filipino artisans who have worked with wood for years, shaped with care, and tested with players from Cebu’s growing pickleball community.

It is not trying to be the most high tech paddle on the court. It is made for those who want something different from the rest. A paddle with history, character, and the warmth of something made by hand.
